Hands down the cleanest local hotel I've ever been to. No bugs, very tidy. Good working a/c, lights, tv, spotless microwave. No coffee maker in the room but there's free coffee in the lobby. Within walking distance of a grocery store, restaraunts & more. Friendly, helpful staff who allowed me to check the room before purchase. Peaceful environment, not bothered by anyone; no obnoxious people loitering around. Great experience, I would go back
The Budget Inn in Barnesville is one of the cleanest places you can stay in the area. The rooms are very well kept, and you can tell the staff takes pride in maintaining the property. It is the most expensive hotel in Barnesville at about $70 a night, and the price stays the same no matter how long you stay, but they make up for it with their kindness and hospitality. One thing that really stood out was the staff. The lady who does room service was incredibly kind—she even brought my wife and me halwa, an Indian dessert, after learning that my wife is Indian. That was such a thoughtful gesture, and we really appreciated it. The hotel is indoors, which keeps traffic down in the hallways, so it stays pretty quiet. They also have strict rules about disturbing other guests, which makes it a peaceful place to stay. Another convenient feature is the washer and dryer, which you can pay for through an app. It’s very easy to use and actually cheaper than the laundromat in town, costing about $3.50 per cycle. It’s also very convenient to everything in Barnesville, so if you need to run out for food, gas, or anything else, it’s all close by. Overall, it’s a clean, quiet place with very kind staff who go out of their way to make guests feel welcome.
